What this automation does, step by step
The moment a guest books a table online or by phone, the system logs it in the reservation platform and immediately sends a text confirmation with the date, time, and party size.
A reminder text goes out 24 hours before the reservation asking the guest to reply "C" to confirm or "X" to cancel, and a second, shorter reminder fires two hours before the seating window for same-day bookings.
Guests who don't respond to the 24-hour reminder are automatically called by a staff member the next morning instead of being left to guess, and no-show rates that used to run near 15-20% on weekend nights drop into the single digits once guests know a real person is tracking whether they show up.
