What this automation does, step by step
Guests arriving for a meeting check themselves in on an iPad kiosk running Envoy, entering their name, the employee they're visiting, and their company, instead of signing a paper log that nobody ever reads again.
The moment they check in, the host gets an instant Slack notification with the visitor's photo, and a text message goes out via Twilio if the host has stepped away from their desk, while a temporary digital badge with building access limited to the correct floor prints automatically at the front desk.
Visitor data logs to Google Sheets for compliance and security review, and anyone who hasn't checked out after six hours triggers a follow-up alert to the front desk administrator.
