What this automation does, step by step

1. As staff and residents (or children) check in and out through the facility's time-tracking system, this automation continuously calculates the current staff-to-resident or staff-to-child ratio against the specific minimum required by the facility's state licensing.

2. The instant that ratio falls out of compliance, whether from an unplanned staff callout or a higher-than-expected number of children arriving before a shift change, the shift lead receives an immediate alert with the exact numbers and the deficit, giving them time to call in coverage before a licensing inspector or, worse, an incident exposes the gap.
