What this automation does, step by step
Tied directly to each resident's medication administration record, this automation sends the assigned caregiver a reminder at the exact time a dose is due, whether that's a 7 a.m. blood pressure medication or an as-needed pain management dose ordered by a physician.
The caregiver must tap a confirmation once the medication is administered, and if that confirmation doesn't come through within 15 minutes of the scheduled time, the director of nursing is alerted immediately so the miss can be caught and corrected before it becomes a pattern.
A daily medication compliance summary is compiled automatically for every shift, showing on-time administration rates by caregiver and by resident.
