What this automation does, step by step
When a contract, NDA, or offer letter is finalized and ready to sign, the workflow pulls the correct template, populates it with the recipient's details from the CRM or applicant tracking system, and sends it out for signature through DocuSign automatically instead of the legal operations coordinator building each envelope by hand.
Signers get routed in the correct order (counterparty first, then internal approvers), and if a document sits unsigned for more than three business days, an automatic reminder email goes out followed by a Slack nudge to the coordinator to follow up personally.
Fully executed documents save automatically to the correct folder in Google Drive with the file named by contract type and date, and a completion notice posts to Slack so everyone tracking the deal knows it's done.
