What this automation does, step by step
This automation maintains a calendar of every crop insurance reporting deadline (acreage reporting, production reporting, prevented planting claims, loss notifications) for every policy and every covered field.
Reminders are sent to the farm accountant and the farm manager at 30 and 7 days before each deadline.
When a loss event occurs, the system generates a checklist of required documentation, assigns tasks for field verification and yield sampling, and tracks completion until the claim package is submitted, ensuring that a covered loss doesn't become an unpaid claim because a deadline was missed or a document was missing.
