Slow-Night Demand Trigger & Promo Blast

A done-for-you restaurant automation built for the Marketing Coordinator, connecting Twilio, Airtable, and Mailchimp so the work below happens on its own.

    How it works

What this automation does, step by step

    1. The system checks reservation volume for each upcoming night against a rolling average for that day of the week, and when bookings for, say, a Tuesday fall more than 30% below normal with less than 48 hours to go, it automatically triggers a promo, a discount code or a limited-time offer, pushed out as an email and text to the restaurant's guest list.

    2. The offer is capped at a set number of redemptions so it doesn't cannibalize a night that ends up busy anyway, and results (redemptions, covers seated, revenue) are logged automatically so the coordinator can see which offers actually fill seats.

    3. Slow Tuesdays that used to just be accepted as slow now regularly close within 10-15% of a normal night's covers.

    Tools it connects

Using different software? We build around what you already have, so you never have to switch tools to automate.

    Before and after

The manual way vs. the automated way

    Without automation

Done by hand, this depends entirely on a marketing coordinator remembering to check in, update records, and follow up, with no safety net if something slips. It's the kind of work that quietly eats hours every week.

    With this automation

    • Win-back sequences triggered by inactivity, not guesswork
    • Renewals and memberships that never lapse silently
    • Referral and loyalty programs that track themselves
    • Segmented campaigns built from actual purchase history
