    Technician ETA & On-My-Way Texts

A done-for-you home services automation built for the Route Coordinator, connecting Twilio and Slack so the work below happens on its own.

    How it works

What this automation does, step by step

    1. As soon as a technician marks themselves en route in the field service app, this automation calculates a live ETA from GPS location and sends the customer an on-my-way text with the technician's name, photo, and a tracking link, then follows up with a short delay notice if the technician is still 20 or more minutes out once the appointment window closes.

    2. Customers stop calling the office asking where the truck is, and no-show complaints and wasted return trips drop because someone is actually home when the technician knocks.

    3. The office gets a live dashboard showing every technician's status against the day's schedule, so a slipping ETA gets caught before the customer ever notices.

    Tools it connects

Using different software? We build around what you already have, so you never have to switch tools to automate.

    Before and after

The manual way vs. the automated way

    Without automation

Handled by hand, a route coordinator spends time each day re-checking the same information across disconnected tools instead of doing higher-value work. It rarely feels urgent in the moment, but it adds up fast.

    With this automation

    • Status updates triggered by real milestones in your systems
    • Support requests routed to the right owner with full context
    • Escalations when a response deadline is about to slip
    • Fewer inbound status calls for your front desk
