What this automation does, step by step
When a telehealth visit is booked, this automation immediately generates a unique, secure video link through the practice's HIPAA-compliant platform and sends it to the patient by email along with a calendar invite.
A second reminder text goes out 15 minutes before the appointment with the same link and a one-line tech-check prompt, so patients aren't scrambling to find the email at the last minute.
Providers receive their own link automatically loaded into their daily schedule view, with no separate login step required.
No-shows on virtual visits, which tend to run higher than in-person appointments, typically drop by half once patients have a link in hand at exactly the moment they need it.
