To understand dynamic web pages, we have to understand normal or in other words 'static' web pages. Typical static web pages do not change every time the page is loaded, nor do they change if a user clicks on a button.

In a nutshell: Static web pages always look the same and their content never changes unless a new version is uploaded on the web server.

Dynamic pages do the opposite, they can change every time they are loaded, and its content depends on the user interaction. One of the most common types of dynamic site is the database driven type. This means that you have a web page that grabs information from a database and inserts that information into the web page each time it is loaded.

One common example is an online banking site where you can log in and check your bank account information. Your bank account information is stored in a database and has been connected to the web page with programming thus enabling you to see your banking information.

Unfortunately, this is not an easy answer due to the unknowns associated with evolving search engine behavior. However, in our experience, new domains typically achieve search engine visibility in approximately three to four weeks after the launch of the site. Your site may obtain visibility in Yahoo! and MSN prior to Google, due largely to initial aging delays that withhold new websites from Google for a length of time before indexing. While we develop websites to be compatible with search engine indexing technology, there may be unavoidable delays in obtaining organic visibility. During this delay, we encourage you to focus on other marketing strategies to drive traffic to your site.

Yes, incompatibilities are almost inevitable. A simple web page is likely to display on all browsers without problems, but the appearance may differ slightly on various browsers. A complex page or a web application may fail on some browsers if it is not properly coded and thoroughly tested. We are aware of the problems and use W3C CSS and W3C XHTML standards to code websites. We use CSS style sheets to ensure a robust maintainable layout, and we test our sites on multiple browsers to be sure they work properly.

There is no charge if you opt for a Content Management System (CMS). With CMS you will have a self-editable website where you can access the site, with a User ID and password, and make changes as often as you like. This is a very popular option for businesses that would prefer to save money by making their own site updates.

If you do not want a CMS based website, you have two options. You can either opt of our hourly maintenance rate or choose a yearly-maintenance plan. Changing text or images, or making basic layout changes such as color would usually fall in this category. Adding an additional feature or a tool would be a new task and would require a new quote.
